Virtual Visits

CORONAVIRUS (COVID-19)

In response to the current national epidemic we have changed our office hours to protect our patients and staff.  Currently we are seeing patients up to 24 months of age for well physicals only from 9 a.m to 12 p.m. and sick visits only from 12:40 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. These hours may change so please refer to our website or our Facebook page for information.  Well patients will be seated in our separate well waiting room. For sick patients, parent or caregiver will call us upon arrival to office and check in from their car with the front desk staff.   Patients and caregivers are to wait in their car until called to be placed in a room by one of our Aides via the sick side waiting room.   Please let us know in advance if your child has a cough and/or a fever.   If you have been exposed to someone with Covid-19 and are having mild symptoms such as mild cough and stuffy nose and low-grade fever, it is recommended you stay home and self quarantine for 14 days.  If you are having more serious symptoms such as high fever, chest pain, shortness of breath or changes in mentation (confusion, disorientation, inability to awaken ) then please call the Covid-19 hotline at Lifebridge Health  (410-601-2222) or CCHD hot line (410-876-4848). If your symptoms are serious enough that you think it is an emergency, you need to go to the nearest Emergency Room but call ahead to the ER to notify them.   Remember there is always a provider on-call after hours to help address your concerns as well.

PLEASE DO NOT COME TO OFFICE FOR A VISIT IF YOU THINK YOU OR YOUR CHILD HAVE CORONA VIRUS OR HAVE BEEN IN DIRECT CONTACT WITH SOMEONE WHO HAS CORONA VIRUS OR HAVE BEEN TESTED WITHIN THE LAST 14 DAYS FOR CORONAVIRUS.

VIRTUAL VISITS

In response to this current epidemic, as recommended by the Maryland Department of Health, we are instituting

“Virtual Visits” to minimize face-to-face contact visits starting Monday, March 30th, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday through Friday. These times may change so refer to our website or our Facebook page for daily information.  When you make an appointment for a Virtual Visit, please provide your E-mail address to notify you to start a visit.  If you do not have an E-mail, we can use “Google Duo” to connect with you via cell phone. You would need to download that App first.

Virtual visits are a medical visit and will be charged to your insurance on file.  If you have a copay, that will be billed to you separately.  If the provider decides you need to be seen in the office that same day, there will only be a charge for the office visit.
